PUBLIC DATA · READ-ONLY INTEGRATION

Developer &
agent resources.

Read the same public inspection information that people can see on the site. Use the sources, preserve the qualifications and leave decisions and contact actions with the person.

01 / RESOURCE INDEX

One public source, several formats.

The shared catalog contains 8 services, 67 locality guides and 2 counties. It also includes current approved starting-price rules, concern guidance, FAQs, article links and sources.

02 / VERSIONED PUBLIC API

Read-only GET endpoints.

These operations read public website information. They are separate from the inspection-request workflow and do not access private lead data.

03 / RETRIEVAL & INTERPRETATION

Read the facts with their context.

A minimal read

The example retrieves the catalog on the current site origin. Check the response before using the data; an unavailable resource is not an empty catalog.

// Read public information. This does not submit an inspection request.
const response = await fetch("/api/v1/public/knowledge-catalog");
if (!response.ok) {
  throw new Error("The public catalog could not be retrieved.");
}
const catalog = await response.json();
console.log(catalog);

For an integration running elsewhere, use the public origin https://www.kerwininspections.com with the documented endpoint path. Catalog entries use public absolute source URLs.

Preserve important distinctions

  • Prices: keep the starting-price label, property-size brackets, adjustments and scope qualifications together. A missing amount is not a free service.
  • Deliverables: same-day applies only to home-inspection reports. Laboratory results can take 2–4 business days. Confirm specialty-report timing separately.
  • Coverage: locality links are coverage guides, not offices or evidence of completed jobs. Respect each entry's geography type.
  • Testing: no included base sample count, full analyte panel or laboratory identity is established by a starting price.
  • Sources: link the relevant public service, price or guidance page. An authoritative consumer reference does not verify Kerwin's individual methods or credentials.

04 / READ-ONLY AGENT BOUNDARIES

Inform the person. Do not act for them.

This catalog is informational. Do not represent an estimate as a final quote, a request as a booking, or educational material as a property or medical diagnosis. Use the actual public source pages; this resource does not guarantee AI citation or ranking.

Appropriate use

Retrieve public facts, identify relevant services, compare the published scope and provide links to the source pages. An agent may suggest that the person contact Kerwin.

Outside this interface

Do not submit a lead, book an appointment, send a message or claim access to customer records. Do not turn a starting estimate into a binding quote or educational guidance into a property or medical diagnosis.

Details requiring direct confirmation
  • final quote
  • appointment availability
  • property-specific scope
  • included samples and test parameters
  • laboratory arrangements
  • specialty-report timing
  • credentials and insurer acceptance
  • shared-area access and costs
  • field findings or outcomes

These are public human-contact links. The read-only API does not call, email, submit a lead or confirm an appointment.

A person can use the public contact page to discuss their property. A request is not a confirmed appointment.

05 / SOURCE PROVENANCE

Trace the information to its source.

Business information

Business services, prices, county coverage and report timing were supplied or approved by the owner. Public contact details were corroborated in the business research.

Published by Kerwin Inspections. Business information confirmed .

Technical references

Existing service and Learning Center entries link the authoritative consumer references supporting their general guidance. Those references do not verify Kerwin's specific methods, credentials, laboratory, report examples or insurer acceptance.

Generated from the site's current approved public data during each build. No unverified professional reviewer or recurring review cadence is claimed.

Credential details and a public street address are not verified in this catalog. Confirm the assigned inspector and relevant credentials before booking.
